High blood pressure is associated with an increased risk of developing coronary heart disease.
A recent scientific review from December 2015, based on data from 123 studies with 613 815 participants, concluded that every 10 mm Hg reduction in systolic blood pressure led to a significant 13 % reduction in all-cause cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality. Relative risk reduction was proportional to the magnitude of blood pressure reduction achieved, both for high and low mean baseline systolic blood pressure (Ref. 1).
A scientific study report from August 2016 reported a 7 mm Hg reduction in systolic blood pressure (SBP) for a group following our Heart and Health Concept for 4 weeks, in comparison with a control group. The marine omega-3 (EPA + DHA) was consumed from lean fish meals enriched with "Our Heart and Health Concept" oil blend as an ingredient (Ref. 2).
